How to Order Taco Bell
There's more than one way to grab a Crunchwrap. Here's how each ordering channel works — and which one tends to give you the lowest total.
Order in the Taco Bell mobile app
The app is usually the best balance of price and convenience. You can build the order, customize each item, add deals, and pick up at the drive-thru, counter, or curbside (where available). App users also get access to exclusive deals and Taco Bell Rewards points.
Pricing in the app generally matches in-store pricing, with no extra service or delivery markup.
Order at the drive-thru
Most standalone Taco Bell stores have a drive-thru. Have your order roughly planned before pulling up — the menu board changes between breakfast and regular menus and may not show every item. Mobile pickup at the drive-thru is supported at many locations and tends to skip the order queue.
Order in-store
Indoor dining rooms include self-order kiosks at many stores, plus counter ordering. Kiosks let you customize without a verbal back-and-forth, which is useful for vegetarian swaps, allergen avoidance, or larger combo builds.
Order delivery
Delivery is supported through DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and the Taco Bell app's own delivery option. Menu prices on delivery apps are typically marked up, and you'll see service plus delivery fees and an optional driver tip.
Use the app's native delivery flow when possible to keep menu pricing closer to in-store and still earn rewards.
Tips for a smoother order
- Check the deals tab in the app before adding items — many can be stacked with a combo.
- Customize sauces and sides at order time rather than asking at pickup.
- If you need breakfast items, place the order before the breakfast cutoff at your local store.
- For group orders, the Cravings Box and Party Pack options are usually the lowest cost per item.
